Jai Bakshi BVisSc, MOptom
Jai is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist with a strong clinical focus and a commitment to providing thorough, personalised and evidence-based eye care.
He graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Vision Science and Master of Optometry and has broad experience in primary eye care, ocular disease detection and management, and advanced diagnostic assessment.
Jai has a particular interest in the detection, treatment and ongoing monitoring of eye conditions including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, retinal conditions, dry eye disease and inflammatory eye conditions.
As a therapeutically endorsed optometrist, Jai is qualified to prescribe ocular medications and manage a range of eye conditions within optometric practice. When further investigation or specialist treatment is required, he works closely with ophthalmologists, general practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
Jai takes a thorough and considered approach to every eye examination. He believes good eye care is about more than simply seeing clearly, and takes the time to explain his findings, treatment options and recommendations so patients can better understand and manage their eye health.
Jai values developing long-term relationships with his patients and providing continuity of care for individuals and families throughout all stages of life.
Paul Fell Dip.App.Sc. (Optom)
Paul is a highly experienced optometrist who has been practising since 1983. He graduated from the Queensland Institute of Technology and is a member of Optometry Australia.
With more than 40 years of clinical experience, Paul has a broad interest in all aspects of eye care, with particular interests in contact lenses, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts and advanced lens design.
Paul enjoys taking the time to understand each patient’s individual visual needs and providing practical, personalised eyecare solutions.
Outside of optometry, Paul enjoys an active lifestyle, particularly watersports including wingfoiling and efoiling, as well as running and hiking.
