Glasses and frames in Forest Lake
We carry more than twenty-five frame brands, starting at $90.
That range is deliberate. Some people want a Ray-Ban and know exactly which one. Some want something nobody else in the room is wearing. Some need a frame that survives a teenager. All three should be able to walk into the same practice and leave happy.

Independent designers
Face à Face (Paris) · l.a.Eyeworks (Los Angeles) · Etnia Barcelona · WOOW · Coco Song · Caroline Abram · Matttew · Woodys · Albert I’M Stein · Morel · Bill Bass
These are the ones you will not find in a chain. Face à Face has been making avant-garde Parisian frames since 1995 — bold shapes, unexpected colour. l.a.Eyeworks, founded in Los Angeles in 1979, produces limited-edition designs that begin as hand-drawn sketches. If you have tried on frames in three shops and found the same wall of them each time, this is the section to spend time in.
Lightweight and rimless
Silhouette · Stepper · Pro Design
Rimless and titanium frames for anyone who wants to forget they are wearing glasses — and the sensible answer for a strong prescription that would look heavy in a thick frame.
Sport and sunglasses
Oakley · Nike · Maui Jim · Arnette · Dirty Dog · Slazenger
All available with prescription lenses, including polarised options for driving and the water.
Children and teenagers
Nifties
Built for the way children actually treat glasses.
Lenses
Frames get the attention; lenses do the work. We fit Essilor, Zeiss and Hoya — three of the most advanced lens manufacturers in the world.
That means the lens can be matched to how you actually use your eyes: single vision, progressives suited to long days on a screen, thinner high-index lenses for stronger prescriptions, and coatings for glare, scratching and reflection.
Measurements are taken digitally rather than by eye. This matters more than most people realise — a progressive lens fitted two millimetres out is a progressive lens you will never quite get on with.
Who fits them
Sharon Fell, our director and frame stylist, along with senior optical dispensers Mona and Deanna.
Frame styling is not a sales pitch. It is working out what suits your face, your prescription and how you live — which frames will take a strong prescription without looking heavy, and which will survive being pushed up onto your head forty times a day.
Come and try them on
Frames are impossible to judge on a screen. Come in and try things.
